leash dog.

kitty counts on

the element of surprise

when hunting

just as dog

depends on

running attack,

and surprising elements can come into

prey.

when so announced

can Freaky Friday,

when so restrained

and roll over reverse

bad kitty!

(good dog!)

and unstudied

runs by cat

are never good

–missing and hissing

you’ll need to muzzle kitty

and dog

champs at that bit.

alternately sticking his neck out

oh that hurts

(hare standing on end)

and turning circles,

–but never settling in.
