    • Charron's Chatter October 13, 2012 at 4:00 pm

Ooooh! I love love love that! Best comment ever, realityenchanted…Truly. Makes me feel all mystically complex. Plus who doesn’t love forests. 🙂

    • Charron's Chatter October 14, 2012 at 4:24 pm

Well, thank you very much! It took many years–more than I will admit to–and too many rewrites to count. Currently in the (cold) query stage, let’s keep our fingers crossed! 🙂

  5. I love the idea of the id and super ego as celestial watchdogs. Well, I guess that’s almost too true to be fiction. Here’s keeping fingers crossed.

    • You are right! It’s just semantics, isn’t it? Those “two” are our watchdogs all along…And just a lil update: I am spending the next several days organizing my submission records, and figuring out what’s writ where and who might be looking at it. Time to get Remix out there! Thank you for coming by, Barb.

  6. Thanks much dear Karen for following me also on my FB page! Much appreciated!

  7. I have nominated you for the “One Lovely Blog Award”. Congratulations! I nominated you because your blog is special for me and it has something that i don’t find in all other one that I surf. Here is the link:

  8. After that hook, how could you not? Thank you for stopping by. I look forward to surfing your site in more depth. 🙂

  9. Excellent post. I absolutely appreciate this site. Keep it up!

  11. Interesting place you have … very versatile … and thanks for stopping by my little corner of the world.

  12. I love your pages and your form of self-expression, it is a pleasure to have you share your gifts through your pages Thank you. I have nominated you for blog of the Year please visit my page Blog of the year awards and nominations Thank you! Revised

  13. Hallo

I’ve a christmas card for you! : ) You can pick it up here http://summer4soul.wordpress.com/2012/12/11/1022/
    Have a nice day

    Sweet greetings, Summer

  14. I’m hooked! Can’t wait to get my hands on it! You are seriously talented my friend.

    • um…could you write that in a blurb form, please? 😉 Thank you so much for the vote of confidence, lil Miss Wordy. With your knack for etymology, it’s a compliment indeed! 🙂

  15. Dear Karen, dear friend. Thank you so much for your inspiring support on FB and on Twitter. I am so pleased. I have a little surprise for you:) Please check out my blogroll! I hope this will be useful. Hope you will like the surprise. Read the explanation of your blog too!

    • Arlen, what a wonderful honor for me, and thoughtful gesture from you. I loved my description, and I am super pleased to be “part of”…You are really very kind, and it’s so easy to support your work. Your message is as important as it is beautifully represented.

  16. I’m afraid of the query stage…everyone tells me how scary it is. I hope you have luck with it!

    • It isn’t as scary as it is callous inducing: your skin will get mighty thick…mighty quick. BUT–if you stick with it–your writing just gets better and better, and then it’s YOU who gets to pick and choose. (I am foreseeing this for opus #2, however) Careful of “sort of” presses out there, Ben. There are plenty of them!

  17. Your entry on Erik’s facebook page brought me to your blog and I am very glad I came. What a beautiful site! I wish you the very best with your book, although by the look of it you have so much talent you do not need to rely on luck!

    • Malcolm, that’s so encouraging to hear! And encouragement is the wind beneath a writer’s wings—this writer, at least. Thank you for the instant smile this morning, and I hope you’ll “stay awhile”. 🙂

  18. By my sister: Diane C. Robiscoe. Thank you so much on her behalf.

  19. congratulations! quite an accomplishment. thanks for sharing. look forward to reading your poetry. love your sisters art.

Is Renee a real person? I was so absorbed in this post, I long to know so. “Easy reading takes a great deal of labor to write”, as the saying goes. Did you write this?

    • yes I did, game lover, and Renee is fiction, though I drew on some personal experiences in my life for verisimilitude. Thank you VERY much for your compliment about this particular intro piece. Spirited Remix is the raison d’être de’any of this, really, and so it means especially a lot…:)

  46. hungergameslover101 Reply January 27, 2013 at 11:52 pm

Charron…I like your blog, by the way. Check out mine and read the one about Frosty the Snowman. You’ll have to look it up…it’s old. 😉

speechless, honored, and grateful that you would invite me to your amazing corner of splendor! 🙂

    • Jules…no wonder your name phonetically resembles a gem. Because what a wonderfully precious thing to say–and you, as a fellow scribe, know how much compliments to the written work mean. It might not pay the bills, but it fuels the flame!! Thank you so much for popping by, and DO hook me up with your WP address…time to dig out your site, dust it off..hehe. 🙂

  51. Because you inspire me, I have nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award ♥

You may choose to pass it on, or don’t. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. It won’t matter either way & I won’t be offended 🙂 Just know that you are awesome.

  52. Hey Karen, Thank You for your comment on my post about the Fair i visited…am so pleased that u had patiently read thru the whole thing…..Am blessed to possess readers like u..:) Dee

    • Hi Kali–haha, that is my nickname, but “Cally” <<short for California, where I live.

Thank YOU for your great manners! Now that I found your awesome blog, I will be hopping back soon, I am sure. 🙂

  55. I needed to thank you for this great read!! I absolutely loved every little bit of it.

I have you saved as a favorite to check out new stuff you post…

  56. Karen Karen Karen…where do i start n where do i end?

    I wait for comments,
I wait for a like from you,
    For I know,
    Next, shall follow your comment,
    They brighten my spirit,
    They make my day,
Till now, they’re my only rewards,
    That’s my pay,
I value them, ur views do I cherish,
For me they’re more than medals,
    Precious assets…

Thank Youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu ……U REALLY MADE MY DAY 🙂

    • I truly believe you are gifted, Deba. Extraordinarily so, and that it is only a matter of time before you go big, literary places.

Further, I think it’s very important to let people know where they are great…I think the world is far too ready to point out a person’s shortcomings, rather than compliment them on their talents. If it were the opposite, we’d have a much happier–and exponentially more gifted–world. So I enjoy spreading the word about your sentences, as much (hopefully) as you enjoy reading them. As a fellow artist, I realize water is needed for blooms…

      It’s a win-win ripple effect from a soft stone thrown…:)

(and other metaphors–have an awesome day, Dee!)

    • U hv a greatttt day too Karen…. 🙂

  57. Hey Karen I guess you had recommended poets n writers to me earlier N i had already registered n submitted a few of my write-ups in der….

  63. Hi. Thanks for following my blog. Your blog inspires me…

  64. Funny If I mix my mothertongue and my daily language (French and Swedish), I understand English better than I speak… But I don’t talk English in my life…

Un ésprit intéressant… En intressant ande… An interesting spirit… (That’s how I translate into English, French-Swedish-English)

I believe I would like your style, but if you want to follow me… Parlez-vous français ?

  65. Greetings from sunny Warsaw. Have a look at my new photos.

  66. Hi karen and thanks for visiting and following my blog. I’m so glad to have learned about your wonderfully creative and eclectic blog through Cristian Mihai’s http://cristianmihai.net/2013/05/20/interview-with-karen-robiscoe/

  67. I nominated you for a Most influential blogger My sincerest congratulations to you ,Have nice day

  68. ..very inspirational blog….you’ve hit on the mystical nature of life as we know it…and maybe possibly as we DONT know it, too….;)

  69. Sharon, I received a message from a medium that not all go to the same place. She was sending on an important message from my mother who is far to busy moving on to waste words 🙂 so to your question: What happens to the unrepentant after death? Are there separate places for the good and bad? Can the actions of a loose-ended Spirit affect events in earth’s Middle Realm?
I still don’t now but I do feel I know that, in ‘real’ life and death there is justice after all.

    • I have had dreams–really intense dreams–and I have had…don’t laugh…signs, too. All to do with electricity, oddly enough, or maybe not so oddly…ramble ramble.

What I mean to say is–i think there is something more than meets the eye, definitely, and I just wonder how our energies do once we transmute. I have studied lots of sacred texts in conjunction with academic requirements, and I still have huge ideas beyond that. Some pretty weird ones, too, but the best part is my mind is completely open to it all.

I think it is the driving force behind everything. Trying to figure out the rhyme and reason…

    • I agree that there is more to life on this plain, we use a very small percentage of our brain power and so as a result lack the inner vision shall we say?

But that doesn’t mean that we cannot reach out with our thoughts, though there are only a limited few that see beyond our material existence, it is just that the majority of us are unable to tap into the space between this reality and the next.

It is a complex subject to comprehend and in some instances impossible to fathom but the authenticity of the thought is a worthy of our time and energy, well that is what I think anyway 🙂

Have a lovely start to your Tuesday Charron 🙂 😉

      Andro xxx

    • every now and then–I think I get glimpses…have signs about the Other Side. I am not too hysterical about it–you know, seeing signs everywhere? But every now and then–boom comes the hamm-ah.

I am very curious about what this all leads to…and know that our energy will ultimately transmute. The cosmos are a favorite study…and by that I mean, I watch “Through the Wormhole”…oh HOH!! Gotcha!!

  70. I had to take the lift all the way down here my friend but it was worth it just to let you know how wonderful I think that you postings are 🙂 have a truly wicked and exciting rest of evening and a Tuesday with lashings of everything you enjoy the most 🙂 😉

    Andro xxx

    • I need to check out all of my annoying typos before
hitting the ‘Post Comment’ 😦 Sorry about those Charron

      Andro xxx

    • I fix-ed she. I also typo and then regret. a fine platitude lurks therein…

    • Thank you for fixing that one for me Charron 😉 🙂

      Andro xxx

    •

      your typoz aren’t safe with me! <<artistic license with Zee…twas a decision…;)

    • Andro! I am happy to see you. I thought I had lost you to the murk of the cyberworld, but here you are. I think I will have at least 2ooz-days of the lashings I enjoy most, because it is all decidedly too short to do otherwise.

and beware…something wicked this way comes….(cue spooky music) (imagine spooky emoticon)

thank you for your nice compliment, too. 🙂

    • No you have not lost me my lovely friend, I have been away for over a week doing this, that and a bit of the other (tongue-in-cheek there, I am a tad wicked, but harmless 😉 )

You know, I limit updates on my Space to reduce emails sent to my inbox and so I tend to visit everyone randomly, I do get some updates in my reader but not as many as I would like and so I often miss out on new postings 😦

When I am not around, or miss something new don’t worry as I always visit whenever I get the chance and today I will be around a bit more than usual, well as much as I can anyway 🙂

You have a very nice Space here Charron and I will be exploring through your vast array of postings, it will be fun I know it as your style appeals to so many of your reader base here, and of course I like it a lot too 🙂

Have fun today, and be good like me 😉

      Andro xxx

    • ahHAH! I see you are “good” Andro in the day–and “wicked” Andro at night. Alter Ego, here I come! And I say this as a person with myriad…why, when I was in my HEY (hey hey) day–I did earn a nickname of Scary Karen..hehe..when I was on a roll..Funny in retrospect, and amazing I lived through it all…

You are my favorite commenter–you say what I am thinking without asking…

Kewl. Okay. Will close, as I am grinning foolishly at comment…K

    • Hi Gray–

Well, maybe it depends on when you were here. I am going back and forth with it…it’s funny. It’s my blog, but I censor myself so what is all that about…I tell you, Gray, I live for the day when I don’t feel that need, but society and its demands can be a harsh mistress–especially to the first tier players…I love that you wrote this to me. It makes me feel noticeable.

      mr. green for you!!

  80. You’ve been awarded a bouquet of awards! Enjoy! 🙂 http://misbehavedwoman.wordpress.com/2013/09/09/a-super-bouquet-of-awards/

  85. I have no idea how you can keep up with so many comments. But it looks as though I am also one to get hooked on the chattering of Charron :-). You are one talented and fun woman and I love stopping by,

    • just for that, I’m throwing you under a BUSS!!

Truly made my day, sweets. 🙂 Thank you, Ahardrain, and the secret is pure lunar–see…:) Might I add, your latest post was just spectacularly rendered. The photos so crisp! Just like the Arctic area, I am sure.

    • Could you imagine what you might come up with in your writing on a cruise sailing with the glaciers all around you in the midnight sun???

    • I can’t!

      …well…maybe a little…Maybe i would be…er…Karen Frost!

Two ships set sail on briny seas,
and sorry I was traveling coach…heheh…:) Inspired already. 😉

    • Or as Mark Twain said so perfectly…”Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

    • Do you know, the last book I read–WAS the biography of Puddin’head himself?

He was awesome, that guy. By the mark, twain!

I bet that cruise ship is definitely in waters deeper than the 2 meter mark (or two foot, I can’t rightly recall…;)

Ciao, Ahardrain. I am super glad to have met you. You are really cool! I am off to change out aquariums…whee!! (lo lo lo) dreaming an’ schemin’ of bigger fish…:)

  86. Liebe Charron einen schönen Sonntag und einen guten Start in die neue Woche wünscht dir Klaus

  87. I am just calling by to wish you

  89. Einen schönen Freitag und ein glückliches Wochenende wünscht dir Klaus

  90. Thank you… @ ^_^
    kindness blossoms in your heart

  91. Happy Thanksgiving Charron 🙂 😉

    Andro xxxx

  92. Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter
and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She
placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it
pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I
    had to tell someone!

  93. As an urban fantasy is OK. The bad news is that unrepentant, as well as repentant, will go nowhere. Atoms are fickle and their time of devotion is fleeting. Even a long human life adds up to only about 650,000 hours. And when that modest milestone flashes past, or at some other point thereabouts, for reasons unknown your atoms will shut you down, silently disassemble, and go off to be other things. And that’s it for you. Unrepentant or repentant. 🙂

    • it is true that all energy transmutes and does not die. However, you can’t say definitively that the atoms and molecules disperse, or if they do, which part contains the soul–think 21 grams–and further, like DNA, maybe only one’s needed to keep your energy (force) going.

My Dad was a theoretical physicist, and his idea was God was the biggest of electrons…

what I truly believe–postulate–what have you–is far different than this story–and always in a state of flux–and seems like a big damn curiosity to me. As in: not to be feared, but wondered about…

of course the Ego fears annihilation–however it goes, I hope I get to rest…

      Love your take, Dug

  94. Lovely work done..

  95. Liebe Charron einen schönen Abend und sei ganz lieb gegrüßt Klaus

  96. Liebe Charron einen sonnigen frohen Dienstag wünsche ich dir und danke für deinen Besuch sei ganz lieb gegrüßt Klaus

  101. I fixed it– not too sure if I picked the right word so I’m always open to suggestions. And thank you for all the kind words.

    • thanks, MGFIOOT! And funny, given my mad contractions, I thought you might wonder which to fix…:) Most words/poems i write are open to suggestion, since reinterpreting the mundane–especially the monosyllables!–renders them ever so much more interesting. 😉

  102. Thank your for visiting my blog and for the follow. I’m glad you enjoyed my post and I am looking forward to getting to know you better. Blessings, Natalie 🙂

  103. Liebe Charron einen schönen Start in die neue Woche und sei herzlichst gegrüßt Klaus
