My bones & skull
restricted me,
so filleted I, and tossed ‘em,
feeling thin, all guts and skin,
I relayed off to Boston…
In town of Bean,
I made the scene,
but didn’t make the Globe.
Since skeleton
~not gelatin~
is best for making bones…
The target next
–Connecticut—
to school enclosed in moss…
but didn’t pass,
pre-req for class,
no skull, nor bones to cross.
From Old Brick Row,
I had to go, and–
running short of money,
I hit the stage,
but made no wage,
without a bone of funny.
Returning ,then,
to skeleton–
and skull–
I stretched them bigger,
as back with bone
will keep you tone,
improving too, the figure.
