lend elegance where eloquence is not…
you can put them
in
eye-talics,
those annoying showstoppers
that skew reading
more than the slanted term
itself
wink-wink
& you can underline them,
too
(and even twice)
to visually compensate all that’s
not sub textually there,
(or anywhere in between them)
you can bold them,
and high-lite them,
(isolate) and
wingding them
strikethrough them and
just CAP them if you must–
–if being when all else fails—
&
–else being succinctness—
but ultimately there’s not a dam thing to be done
(with them)
when the words themselves
fail.
