On a bridge,

It seemed the perfect place…

Linked by cortical sill,

whenever I go to h↑gh altitudes

my nose bleeds,

and I have epiphanies!

Hold up.

Eye wanna be precise:

Lots of epiphanies,

whereas at sea-level—

  1. fear of heights ..is it? or are you joking

    • Banu–I am glad you asked. Actually, this whole “poem” riffs on the instance of left and right brains–and how these cortices rarely “speak” to each other, other than when a person exercises, and the cortical bridge is stimulated through cardiovascular exercise. This occurrence–the right and left brains talking to each other is whence all creativity comes–as I am sure you prolly know already. Creativity coming from a place beyond thought…

So I got to thinking about eyes…and how we see what we want (choose where we focus, as well)….and then frames of glasses themselves as sortuv cortical bridges…

the high reference is meant to be interpreted 1 of 2 ways…420 smoking kind of way, and climbing to heights, both, since both these activities stimulate my er…cortical bridge…:)

  2. Wonderfully put – our vision changes, and so does our outlook. Best to have regular upkeep and clear away the smudges once in a while.
I’m seeing things more clearly than last year, or rather can I see further out. Thanks for putting that thought in my head!

    • that’s what is so great about learning/growing/evolving. Expanding our vision! Brainy Guy, it is always a pleasure to read your thoughts; I am glad your journey progresses!!
