the derby, ‘stakes,

and preakness

beneath the glitz and sleekness

(nice hat)

is subjugated torture

from which they make a fortune

(phat cat)

no late day repercussion

concerned about concussion

(bone snaps)

just training, tricks,

and slaughter

(nice hat)

slow hooves consigned

to fodder.
