Safety in Numbers

Charron's Chatter for funny writing

elephants are not afraid of mice

no, in no wise

they fear butterflies

–with wings as big as ears,

they get confused.

Sectioned away from sound

and feedback lack

they falter,

losing path

–missing tale to grip

they stray,

eventual fodder

to poach–

they

with no

huevos

stampede,

&

even a party of 1

is fearsome,

thereby

detracting

from

same state

–since elephants

do not

fear

mice,

only butterflies.
