This is the city, Steve! Santa Barbara is pop 80K! We are a special and wonderful village, much like the Smurf village, I’m pretty sure. We have grand things…but to scale, and no mess or headache like LaLa Land, or the real City (SF) Still close enough to both to make them viable–80 miles South or 330 North. * she says, staunchly defending beloved town * 😉
Camped at El Capitan , I think it it was called on the beach there , long ago , one of my favorite spots after Sequoia’s . :lived in and around LA too many years . Memory lane , what a trip . Haha !
Yeah…I really dig the beach in the winter months. Makes your blood thinner, though, I think. After 30+ years in Cally, I am ready to move to the Tropics!
It’s fun to experiment with the camera, for sure. If I remember (!! bif if!!) I am going to take a summer class and learn how to work it! Thanks for coming by, Maddy; you always have the best comments. I hope everything is balanced and Zen…and well, united–in Life for you right now.
Beautiful!! Wish I could wake up to that everyday.
Thanks for the video and song, Karen! I love the sun rise shot , is great!
I just can’t wait to see this kind of scene in local!
Happy breakfast ! 🙂
It is nice living in sunny Southern California 😉
somehow…especially in Feb-BRRR-ary!! 🙂
I miss California seeing this , then I remember the cities . Still miss then warm winters . Nice video !

Thanks, RT!
I am going to sign up for a video/camera class, for sure. It’s just too much fun dabbling in this medium…as this wade-able post shows… 🙂
Very nice. Love the ocean shots — sigh~!
so peaceful! And next time I won’t narrate–and then I’ll be able to use the actual soundtrack. I was a lil too groggy & foggy for commentary!! 😉
Sigh is right, this was beautiful … and there’s still snow here in beautiful but still wintry British Columbia, Canada! 🙂
