I see a different world
—than others, it’s my choice
’cause in my view
there’s black with blue
a contrast that I voice.

without opposing colors
the spectrum would be bland
since primaries
show potency
when compounds help disband

without enduring struggles
the reward would be muted
as that hard won
is twice as fun
as booty undisputed.

No, truth in me
won’t quiet
nor wash itself in white
the bad or good
as strikes my mood
is kind of wrong but write…

I love this. You bring a smile to my face 🙂
hehe–you know it, All Star. Inspiration has many strange packages!! I am just getting done with HELLA HUGE chores–well, I still have to water the back–but then…ahh. A run. This just came out between waterings…:)
It’s excellent when that happens. They just pop out like that 🙂
This poem, like so many of your poems is so
brilliantly written Charron and I have certainly
enjoyed it my sweet friend 🙂
