3 Hour Tour

deserted island

I stowed away

with castaways

got lost for days

just floatin’

drifted to

a green lagoon

on pontoon

saved from boatin’

built some huts

with bamboo struts

with coconuts

for shingles

caught a sow

for dinner chow

and held luau

to mingle

of ladies three

the pedigree

the richest she

was older

while hourglass

defined the lass

(the tits and ass)

that smoldered

the girl next door

in shorty shorts

she wore

her tresses plaited

baked some pies

to please the guys

–a partner shy

of dating

(a walking check)

(an intellect)

(the boss of wreck)

(and matey)

since hull was toast

we lived on coast

composing SOS’s

the theme of show

for year or mo’

but which show,

can you guess it?

  1. girly wirly tale….:)))

    • do you know which TV show?? πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

    • naaah, TV and specially serials never watched much…but tell me which one…for my general knowledge please :))

    • Gilligan’s Island! It’s a cult classic–like Twilight Zone. there is not an American alive who has not seen this show at least once. You guys must have the equivalent? (whether viewed or otherwise…)

      I think.

Anyway. It was BIG when I was growing up–and the joke being–the 3 hour tour. The premise for the show was tourists going to tour the Hawaiian islands for 3 hours–but oddly enough, they all had full wardrobes…;)

    • ah sounds interesting, am not sure if we had one of this kind… as much i remember during growing up days we had lot of serials based on magic and tricks and all that….some based on famous tales…one most recognised was on ‘Arabian nights’, read any of it?

    • ahhh–maybe just a little!

That, too, was an “adopted” classic for children over here–not made into a TV show, but ubiquitous. They are an excellent example of “frame” stories–wherein one frame weaves into another frame (frame=story) and yet all have a common theme–a tricky form of storytelling…Canterbury Tales is also frame prose–and very frame-ous it is!! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

    • our traditional stories have been all filled with magic, adventure, fantasy etc…. and actually satellite telivision entered India very late as rural areas got Mtv only in late 90s here…so we missed many stuff that way… i remember even in our childhood days very few houses used to have telivision and several people from neighbourhood used to join to watch those few serials on national tv. time changed very quick since then πŸ™‚

  2. Haha! Great one, I got it nearly halfway through, I was always more towards Mary Ann πŸ˜‰

  3. No, i cannot guess it?

  4. Ha – I used to watch that show. πŸ™‚
