Shoeshine
is so fine–
it polishes kicks,
the uppers,
the outers,
Not sole that takes licks
And outshine
is unkind–
it lessens the rest,
a bid for
attention,
to show you’re the best
While moonshine
is when whine
just won’t do the trick–
a toast-
burning host,
that soon becomes sick
It’s sunshine
that’s sublime
–it shines every eye
in life-giving
warmth
from starshine in sky.
