Synesthesia
I drew a book for you, I
wrote a different picture.
With studied spontaneity, I
added what didn’t lack.
On the 8thday, mainly, I
flavored the players in prism
–added infinite shades of monotone–
practiced dialogue in monochrome.
‘Wrote the afterword, first.
entirely in braille, on
~perfumed pages~
backward!
Using a fountain pen
without red ink, I
dented the paper
from the
Other Side–
listening all the while
by touch.
