Exchanging my edge

head in the clouds all the while,

bridges are threads

a tapestry woven for miles.

Little Read Writing Hood

–wrote a lot

it did her good

writing of a day gone by

explaining

why

she lost the guy,

and how a maiden

mostly good

would trade her halo

for a Hood……

a cowl that without a priest,

is frightening—to say the least

since only creeps

will hide a face,

that reaps the spoils of human race,

writing off, with little trace

Castles Made of Sand

Eye am that the seen
unique to me–will last.
Live in Spired dreams

– words as my mast
Eye am that the seen

–greener than green
> future & past <
live in Spired dreams

built on beaches…
–beaches of glass–
Eye am that the seen

tragic & sweet
wanton or chaste
live in Spired dreams

merging with Stream
beyond the Morass
Eye am that the seen
live in Spired dreams.

Chants of Rain

the rain restores

what lightning strikes

so let it pour

let mighty Thor

his hammer smite

the rain restores

a battered shore

-with rising tide-

so let it pour

thus all that’s torn

and wrecked revives

the rain restores

and heals dolour

and eases mind

the rain restores

so let it pour.

Fight or Flight

How does a hummingbird handle the rain?

and what about bumblebees…

are there ‘brellies

and wellies

to help out these fellies

or without do these pilots complain?

How do pond dwellers deal with a drought?

the tadpoles, the fish, and the skitters…

is there office

to process

the loss of the faucet

and if not what goes on with these critters?

How does a wolf pack recover from fire?

a bear, or a deer, or a moose…

are there builders

with guilders

to refill

the wilderness

replenishing pine tree & spruce?

However it is, these beasties then live,

I’ll wager that this much holds true…

they don’t blame

the rain

or the flame

for their pain

they change tack, since reaction was due.
