Upping the Perchances

puzzle_piece_left

under guise

–and in furor–

meet my eyes

in the mirror,

I’ll surprise

you still nearer,

when you Nod…

As you rest

~I will spirit~

in abstract

you will hear it,

in your ears

like a lyric,

you forgot…

In a dream

* and a vision *

missing scheme

minus schism,

the unseen

side of prism,

can be sought…

By the wise

this surprising

connection,

will escape

all detection–

by the Gods.

Seating Red

red corvette

Everyone needs

to own a red car…

with drop top

and torque

and room for rock stars–

with woofers

and tweeters

and spinners galore–

with pick up

performance

and four on the floor–

with seats made

from buckets

and engine that roars–

like moment in time

that red cars are for…

Yes, every last one of us

needs a red ride!

a corvette

of crimson

is passage in life.

Artful Letter

traveler

Traveling one day,

from point B to A

a backward relay

–passing letters…

Glancing at C

Lighting up D

those artful graphemes

just got better…

I sent out an E!

No F words, but G!

Just look at these things

they’re so squiggly!

H, I, J, K

and JK is great!

What L indicates

–when you’re giggly…

M, N, O, P,

was operative, see

was best M O D

for an answer,

to question Q posed

since Q‘s one of those

letters P goes with

for standard…

The rest of my trip

went by so quick

before I knew Y

I was sleeping–

‘catching some Z‘s…

before a repeat…

As right after A

there’s B keeping!

Then again…

Charron

shenanigans

🙂 a giggle fest 🙂

best in show

&

word’s that’s best

kicK→ing shins

of all the rest

in syl•la•bles

that promise test

of

/ limits /

~humor~

–holding breath–

a *buzzered* hand

in fidget jest

a chuck on chin ↑

that points to chest ↓

a jiggling

wriggling

term for mess–

that’s planned or spurred

–and lessens stress.

Yore Kidding Me

frisends

Greeting your neighbor

used to involve

a wave of the hand

and pat of their dog

a quick game of Frisbee

or shared trip to shop

a compliment paid

for a gardening job.

But these days

the neighbors

are harder to know,

>ears plugged for sound<

<head wired to nodes>

the head nod–

*a spasm*

the grin

  a gum show  😀

eyes glued to digits

smart phone aglow

and sure, these progressions

have google to boast,

but I prefer contact

without a web host,

as tangible presence

beats giggle/bite ghost

the hearts interacting

not keypunched,

♥ ↔ ♥

but gold.

daily prompt: obsolete

The Penners

penners

There’s degrees of

songs & singers–

so much, I’ll make a list,

when we’re through

let’s both review

& see what I have missed.

There are those that need

~enhancement~

* auto-tune *

& helping hands,

there are those that

bleed song writers

back-up singers

& their band,

there are those that

feed on scandal

freaky clothes

to scream I’m glam,

& those with

stupid handles

geeky pose

& marriage plans

there are those who

make good money

putting Phony

next to Gram

and those that

belt out covers

of another

band with fans…

But sometimes

there are singers

–be it fella, be it dam–

who sing it acapella

And to them

I give this hand.

Since like a writer

~writing~

acapella is pure voice

no falderal

to song at all

but words!

(My tune of choice)
